Waymaker provides instructors with easy to use tools to better connect with and help students and identify trouble spots. At just $25, Waymaker offers curated, customizable, outcome-aligned OER content with text, video, assessments, simulations, and other interactive learning activities along with resources such as automated messaging tools and personalized study plans. Outcome analytics reveal underperforming content that Lumen improves regularly in order to increase efficacy and strengthen learning.

Waymaker includes opportunities for self-check, faculty messaging, and personalized study plans, as well as a collection of support materials. This tool directly helps students as they are engaging with course material while giving faculty data to facilitate structured support of students.


Waymaker is built on OER, making it an affordable option. This platform provides a suite of tools and resources to support the content. The ease of integration into the LMS allows for quick customization and minimal learning for faculty.

Waymaker provides many choices and a great deal of content. Teaching with Waymaker the first time will take time to determine how much of the content and resources to use.
